Last Sunday, GuyBow hosted a small Family Fun Day in observance of International Family Equality Day, creating a space where members, friends, parents, and children could come together in community and connection.
Although the rain changed some of our original plans, it did not stop the warmth, laughter, and togetherness shared throughout the day. Families gathered to relax, connect, and enjoy simple moments with one another while celebrating the importance of love, acceptance, and chosen family within the LGBTQ+ community.
At GuyBow, we recognize that family looks different for everyone. Whether by blood, friendship, partnership, or community, every family deserves respect, support, and the freedom to exist openly and safely.
Even with the rainy weather, the day served as a reminder that joy and community can still thrive in imperfect moments. We are grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the gathering meaningful.
